Editorial Board

The Zeitschrift für Hochschulentwicklung (ZFHE) is guided by an international Editorial Board, which continuously develops the publication. The Editorial Board identifies key themes, proposes editors for individual thematic issues and recommends possible reviewers. One member of the Editorial Board is designated for each issue to address content-related questions.

In addition, the Editorial Board guarantees a high-quality reviewing and production process, establishes the relevant standards, and constantly monitors the quality. To this end, the Editorial Board convenes twice a year on average and submits annual reports on its activities.

Editors

Each thematic issue is published by scientists who excel in the relevant field for that issue. They are chosen by the Editorial Board.

The editorial responsibilities for a thematic issue include composing the CFP, screening the submitted contributions, allocating reviewers based on the theme, determining which contributions will be accepted and composing an editorial for the published issue.

The production of a thematic issue, which proceeds in accordance with a schedule set by the editorial board, is supported by the editorial office in the online journal system. Ownership of the content of a contribution is transferred to the ZFHE upon publication of the issue.

Previous special issues and their editors include:

Reviewers
