What does gender sensitive teaching actually mean? This paper collects some ongoing considerations to this question from the perspective of academic teaching. The second part presents theoretic thoughts as well as practical experiences concerning the workshop „Gender & Diversity in Academic Teaching“, a continuous education offer from the Centre of Expertise in Hochschuldidaktik for Lower Saxony for university teachers.
