How can theoretical and empirical knowledge be taught via mobile information technology? Applying the concept of seamless learning (SL) in a teaching project, political science students were asked to link theoretical findings and empirical examples in their everyday life. The results were then discussed within the course. Although this paper argues that SL might help to sharpen student cognition of problems, the successful use of SL is demanding.
