Seamless or seam-aware learning? Some project and media-related thoughts
Main Article Content
Based on the results of an empirical project (i.e., designing an e-book to accompany a MOOC), this paper offers a non-holistic approach to the idea of seamless learning. This approach was derived from a critical examination of the heterogeneous term, in addition to reflections on how to use MOOCS and e-books in specific instructional settings. The outcome of these theoretical considerations is a seamless learning concept that underlines the idiosyncrasies of different learning media instead of advancing its own seamlessness.
