Main Article Content
Teaching research and writing competencies is of great importance for trainee teachers. As part of secondary school teachers' training at the University of Teacher Education, Berne (Switzerland), a setting has been created within the study area 'Research, Development and Evaluation' that simultaneously addresses the acquisition of research and writing competencies. This paper outlines a best practice by focussing on the 'Researching, Developing, Evaluating I' module, which brings the connections between research and writing competencies to bear.
