The Online-Self-Assessment (OSA) for teacher education at the University of Vienna is used at three different points in time. First, the Pre-OSA provides information about teacher education and a self-assessment of study requirements. In 2015, the Pre-OSA was further improved by adding items that cover specialized interests and subject matter competence requirements for the subjects studied. During their studies, students can take two further OSAs on a voluntary basis. These Post-OSAs provide an opportunity for students to reflect on previous study experiences and their study decisions. This paper presents some initial data.
