The concept of habitus-awareness was used to analyze television documentaries about teaching in a seminar with students of teacher education. This paper shows how habitus-differences between teachers and students lead to a lack of reciprocal understanding in the classroom situation. The aim of the seminar was to make a small contribution to the topic of how a scientific-reflexive habitus can be obtained.
