This article describes the systematic restructuring based on the constructive alignment of the "Entrepreneurship" master's course at the SRH Universtity of Applied Sciences, Heidelberg. The change process focused primarily on integrating the students into the competence orientation. The complex design from a frontal, classical-slides-based lecture to a competence-oriented, activating, practical lecture was restructured and implemented based on the PDCA-cycles principle, in order to achieve a continuous and sustainable course improvement. In order to observe the development of the students' competences, a competence review and comparison with the learning outcomes was conducted at the beginning and the end of the course.
