The conversion of existing courses for Diplom or Magister Artium degrees into modularized courses with Bachelor and Master degrees has brought significant changes to the central structures of German universities. This paper presents an example of how the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Science at LMU Munich has used recorded lectures and web-based annotation in the context of teacher training to meet these challenges and provides a starting point for future media didactics research.
