Innovative learning formats are becoming increasingly popular. Videos are used to inspire students and to support learning processes. To ensure quality, several potential pitfalls must be avoided in the planning, implementation and usage of such activities. This workshop report desribes the development of such activities. In addition, this paper highlights the important differences between placing such videos on open or explicitly education-oriented learning platforms and on social media channels.
