eGeo-Riddle – Video-based field trips for geography

The following article highlights new methods for multimedia-based communication and e-earning at universities. With the help of mobile tagging and video podcasts, significant content from lectures and seminars is made available for mobile terminals, such as smartphones and tablet computers. eGeo-Riddle combines e-learning with practical field trips on open terrain. Hence, it is an important and flexible element for student learning processes at universities. This concept creates a complementary, sustainable learning method, which can be transferred to every course of study that features a spatial reference.
