In 2009 an anomymized on-line survey among Nuclear Medicine departments at German Universities was conducted by the German Association of Nuclear Medicine. Responses were received from 19/34 universities. All of these offer additional digital training modules of heterogeneous quality. Mostly, e-Learning was offered as a download facility for scripts and references. Rarely, other methods were offered. The existing teaching concept for Nuclear Medicine was concidered as not satisfactory. We discuss solutions for an integrated teaching concept for Nuclear medicine. Integration mandates the support of the Medical Associations as well as the utilization of novel, e-based tutorial methods that are an integral part of the medical curriculum.
