This report deals with the special potentials of dialogue-based study and course evaluation, an innovative instrument of quality assurance and development. The text also describes a methodology for the implementation of dialogue-based evaluation. Dialogue-based evaluation fulfills requirements for study and course evaluation that questionnaire-based evaluaiton cannot fulfill, in particular by fostering participation and instantaneous feedback. In addition to some general aspects, this report places a special focus on the method of dialogue-based evaluation and on a concrete, practical example.
