The article describes a teaching concept that is being implemented at the school of education in Weingarten, which is intended to increase the connection between theoretical learning and practical experience. The combination of in-school training with the academic studies in the form of an inquiring process supports students in their efforts to develop job competencies and a necessary researching attitude. Reflections related to educational science and peer assessment within a blended-learning environment enable individual and cooperative learning.
