The cooperation across universities has to make special demands on the participating cooperation-partners. The project SECo (Saxon E-Competence Certificate), which is promoted by the European Social Fund, is basically facing challenges which can be seen as a result of the structure of the cooperation across universities. Which structural model is to be taken as basis of the cooperation? Which role does the cooperation with regional units of organization play? How can you coordinate the joint development of e-learning-contents across different locations of universities? How can a central exchange of knowledge and information be realized? By answering these questions generalizable aspects as well as facts within the field of cooperation across universities are to be shown and, thereupon, potentials of an implementation on other cooperation-projects can be represented.
