Several online tools support prospective students in their search for appropriate study programmes. Although most of these tools are based on questionnaires, these questionnaires are often not student-oriented, and they frequently fail to provide transparency with respect to the competencies necessary for studying in a certain programme. This is particularly true for study programmes that combine several disciplines, such as industrial engineering with business studies. To rememdy this problem, the tool described in this article consists of two main features: a flexible questionnaire generator and a front-end for universities to launch their study programmes based on competencies.
