This article is based on the current discourse on how to implement innovations in higher education teaching. It concentrates on two central issues. First, it takes into account the increasing demands of university lecturers for instruction and standard solutions (e. g. for teaching methods). Second, it focuses on the development of higher education teaching skills as a central component in further training and certification programs. Based on this analysis, two new approaches are presented – the PaSDa-Buffet and the learning portfolio.
