The University of Kaiserslautern is taking a reorientation of the academic landscape through the Bologna reforms as an opportunity to motivate the different status groups within an academic concept titled „students as partners“ in order to strengthen their cooperation to handle problem and decision making processes. The present article demonstrates which improvement this concept has for students as well as for the development of new solutions between service requirement and personal responsibility. It includes several test results to the topics „satisfaction“ and „workload“.
