E-Didakt is proposed to support the change of learning culture in academic teaching and learning within the context of the e-Learning-Initiative of the Universities of Hamburg called ELCH. The projects conception aims on the integration of innovative approaches of the e-Learning projects with the expertise in media didactics of the Interdisciplinary Centre of Higher Education. The conception followed a process-oriented design: By integrating the outcomes of the workshops carried out with the project teams into the conception and production of a webbased selflearning module a strict orientation along the needs of the participants was pursued. Within the workshops specific didactical topics in e-Learning were adressed like learning scenarios, communication and cooperation, usability support through visual design or different kinds of interactivity. The participants did not only reflect their own project work on the background of these topics but learned about the diversity of other e-Learning-projects in Hamburg, on alternative types of didactical design or chances of cooperation in order to build informal networks on specific topics.
