Integrating video conferences in teaching – Experience gained in the virtual seminar “Equal Opportunities in Comparative Perspective”
Main Article Content
The authors describe a combination of videoconferencing and videostreaming employed in an international teaching context. They give two basic settings for twopoint videoconferences that differ in participation of students. They also depict how videoconferences were integrated in a virtual, i.e. internet-based course. Their experience showed that video-mediated communication posed few problems for lecturers. Regarding the aspects of sustainability and internationalisation videoconferences offer new perspectives for teaching.
