New ways in academic continuing education: Modular study without curriculum

With “PS Individuale”, prospective students are offered the opportunity to freely combine modules from more than 20 part-time study programmes at the Leuphana Professional School into a certificate program. Unlike most previous supply-oriented academic continuing education programmes, “PS Individuale” is consistently demand-oriented. This opens up a new path for academic continuing education. Implementing a cross-course certificate offering in the existing university structures poses major challenges, as does the technical realisation of a digital booking system for over 200 study modules.
