Comparative Case-Studies on Access to Higher Education

The current debate on a reform of access to higher education in Austria can be leveraged for asking, how other countries balance different trade-offs at the interface of secondary and tertiary education. Seven case studies inform about European countries, which represent crucial references for the Austrian debate, as well as the most important Anglo-Saxon countries, in which an entitlement system plays no significant role.
