The Association of North German Universities is developing standards for the processing of student and examination data. This will enable comparative analyses of study progress within the alliance. These comparisons on the basis of success indicators are intended to initiate subject-specific discourses on quality development. It is assumed that the studyability results from the interaction and the adaptability of institutional and individual factors. Differences between the results therefore indirectly refer to differences in the studyability of the study programs.
