This workshop report discusses the concept of Studierbarkeit and an ongoing initial implementation of a corresponding monitoring that takes into account the
particularities of arts universities and emphasises a student-oriented approach. Instead of a unidimensional comparison of many different study programmes, existing
data sources and qualitative group interviews were used to focus on specific programmes with planned curriculum changes. This improves the encouragement of students’ artistic development and allows for the consideration of both the students’ interests and the priorities of those responsible for the study programmes.
