Internationalisation of teacher education: New options with online courses abroad

This paper describes a best practice example of an internationalisation project. In line with the tenets of change management, new digital options for internationalisation were implemented. This paper outlines the basic parameters of the challenge of adapting a well-established internationalisation project to enable students to participate in a selection of online courses abroad, where students gain initial experiences in the field of international teacher education. The experiences descibed offer suggestions for implementing similar teaching/learning formats in digital, hybrid and analog settings.
