The ability to work together virtually and internationally is becoming an important skill that universities should teach their students. Therefore, in a German-Turkish teaching cooperation, teachers from Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences and the Turkish-German University of Istanbul brought their students together in virtual teams, where they conducted a virtual and international exchange. This paper explains lessons learned during the cooperation and proposes curricular, administrative, technical, and (media) didactic aspects to be considered when designing similar courses.
