One important part of a research-oriented value chain in electromobility is academic education and training. A new part-time teaching and learning format, “Laboratory Electromobile Systems”, has been set up for a master's degree in electromobility. This workshop report depicts the experience of integrating classroom, practice, simulation and digital teaching units from five years of part-time teaching, including an inquiry-based learning setting for electric vehicle research. The author is convinced that this offers a transferable concept for other research-related educational scenarios.
