Individualized and flexible learning is an important basis for the transition from school to higher education. This enables students with different educational backgrounds and existing knowledge frameworks to prepare themselves for their individual course of study in a very focussed way. This paper presents the video-based interactive online learning environment viaMINT, which offers a variety of ways to refresh school knowledge by means of “I-Learning” (integrated, individualized, intelligent, interactive e-learning). Furthermore, we explain its flexible usage in self-study, both when integrated within blended learning or inverted classroom scenarios and when used to provide supplementary material before and during the semester.
