Starting from the challenges of “Global Change“, this text proposes for universities the use of discursive procedures for facilitating highly sustainable (i.e. durable and environmentally compatible) types of consensus. Consensus generation has to be trained and founded on factual knowledge. This didactic target is explained in the following in three examples: (1) An educational case. (2) A strategic-political case. (3) A course-related case.
