According to GOETZELT and SCHERTLER (2005, p. 79) learning transparency is of substantial relevance for the formation of individual learning habits. For this purpose hierarchical structuring of the learning materials is a basic condition, which means that the learning materials are brought into logical order in hypermedial learning environments. Contextualisation without information about past learning success is insufficient for „immature learners (students)“, because the essential function for the learning process – feedback – is missing. Therefore this study will show, which additional options could be provided, to offer optimal learning support.
