Student counselling and study orientation in Germany are in a state of creative diversity with regard to the training and networking of agents, the depth and breadth of career choice curricula at schools, and the use of digital tools. This article describes how the quality and efficiency of student counseling can be increased by integrating interventions and fostering networking. With was-studiere-ich.de and the Berufs- und Studienorientierungs-Training (BEST), we present two interlinked programmes that support the exchange of all parties involved in study orientation in Baden-Württemberg and also yielded noticeable positive effects on the career and study choices of those seeking advice.
