Implementation and use of a uniform admissions procedure for teacher training studies in the “Network Admissions Procedure”

Since 2014, a scientifically based, uniform admissions and selection procedure for various teacher trainings at Austrian universities and universities of teacher education has been developed at the University of Graz, together with and for institutions in the “Network Admissions Procedure”. The multi-level procedure aims to assess the individual aptitude of applicants and has been implemented in a standardized manner with regard to technical support and administration, thereby ensuring fairness, transparency and flexibility for applicants and practical and efficient processing for the institutions in the “Network Admission Procedure”. The following workshop report describes the development of the admissions procedure, as well as the technical and content implementation.
