Scholastic Assessment Test Academic aptitude test – Delta to university entrance qualification?

Since 2017, the Center for Academic Instruction and Lifelong Learning (ZHL) of the Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University has been conducting a general academic aptitude test as part of the so-called delta test. The delta test consists of a multi-stage selection procedure that allows prospective students with Fachhochschulreife or fachgebundener Hochschulreife to compensate for the delta between their university entrance qualifications and their choice of university/study program. This report explains the delta test’s background and practical implementation, as well as the related research questions.
