Comparing educational standards with a demand analysis of basics in mathematics at the University of Stralsund

Due to the discrepancy between school education and the requirements for lectures in mathematics or subjects involving a significant mathematics component, there is a need to compare the educational standards and conduct a demand analysis of basic knowledge in mathematics. This paper describes the methodology and the survey results, as well as a comparison with the guidelines of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern based on the example of the University of Applied Science Stralsund.
