How can high-quality requirements in continuing education programmes for a diverse group of students be fulfilled? To ensure the quality of programmes with a high percentage of online elements, target-group-oriented quality standards were devised and implemented within the joint project mint.online. Our exemplary case demonstrates how workshops with programme managers and teachers can contribute to the successful development of a shared understanding of quality and how these standards can be adapted. Perdiodic evaluations with students and quality discussions with teachers complement the concept of a participatory approach to quality enhancement.
