Fostering E-Teaching Skills in Lower Saxon Higher Education

E-Learning has been established in Lower Saxon Higher Education for the past eight years now. A lot of cooperations are originated in federal projects, especially between teachers, educational technologists as well as IT support staff. However, it is now obvious that the subject-oriented support of teachers still needs further development. The project “Multimedial & aktiv” is intended to meet these needs. It covers the development of a federal dissemination concept of subject-oriented know-how as well as the promotion of a multimedia teaching award. The goal of this project is to foster the integration of e-learning in the subjects in Higher Education.
